The Root Of All Evil?

Let’s get one thing straight…

Money is NOT the root of all evil…

…unless you want it to be…

Some of you might be looking as confused as Alice In Wonderland right now thinking, “Of course it’s the root of all evil! Look at what’s happening all around the world!?”

But let me ask you a question…

Did YOU decide that money is the root of all evil? Or have you continuosly been TOLD or heard that money is the root of all evil? Most of us have it drummed into us from childhood. Don’t let this idea fester in your mind for too long as it could affect the way you handle, acquire, earn and spend your money.

Let’s imagine you saying to yourself: “You know what?…Money is the root of all evil.”

Why would you want to generate masses and masses of something that is apparently the root of all evil? “Hey guess what I’ve got in my bank? $2.5 million dollars worth of the root of all evil”

Do you want the root of all evil? Or would you rather just have something called money?

I’d like you to think of two or three really good things you could do with a good amount of money. It might be for you, it might be for a family member or friend, or maybe a random stranger, or a charity. Just two or three really good things you could do…ok… now find a pen and paper and write those things down. How good would you feel once those good things that you’ve just written down were bought, paid for, given and sorted. I’m guessing you’d feel pretty good right?

Put a star next to the item on your list that you think will require the least amount of money to accomplish. So how are you going to generate/create enough additional money to take care of that item? Well, you can only really do a few things.  You can spend less, but maybe you just absolutely cannot reduce your expenses enough to take care of that item. You can earn more, but maybe you’re an employee and that payrise is, a) not enough, and b) not often enough right? So maybe we need to find other ways of making money, and definately find ways to use our money more wisely… we can then also do a lot of good with the money we generate…starting with the items on your list…
